Comments:

The two genes in AP503 CL2 allows for the use of MSO with Beyond for better grass control. It's resistance to Soil-borne Mosaic for use in Central Kansas as well, but it is best adapted to areas north of I-70. It is susceptible to Leaf Rust and Stripe Rust and may have to be sprayed with a fungicide some years to reach its full potential. The very slow start in the spring after winter dormancy is typical for the variety and you should not get concerned about it.

• Good choice if you need to control problem grasses like feral rye, cheatgrass, jointed goatgrass, and others.
• Do not plant following corn or on low pH soils.
• Plant after the "fly free" date.
